BornCovered was created from a real story—one of survival, growth, and purpose. Our mission is to support youth, pregnant teens, teen mothers, and young women (including those impacted by foster care) as they discover who they are, heal through healthy community, and build the confidence to create their own success story.
We believe identity comes before outcomes. When someone knows they are protected, purposed, and powerful, they move differently. Through workshops, mentorship, and transformative experiences, we help participants unpack their past, find their voice, and step into what’s next—whole, worthy, and equipped.

BornCovered
BornCovered, LLC is a service-based organization founded by Darnella Miller that supports teen mothers, families, and the systems that serve them through non-clinical, educational, and coaching-based services. Grounded in lived experience and evidence-informed practice, BornCovered exists to strengthen parenting capacity, support families through key life transitions, and help individuals navigate complex systems such as foster care, education, and the justice system
Our work centers on pregnant and parenting youth, teen mothers and their children, and the professionals and organizations that support them. We believe that when individuals are equipped with knowledge, support, and a strong sense of identity, lasting change becomes possible.
BornCovered offers signature programs such as Mothers in Care, educational programming for pregnant and parenting youth (including those in institutional settings), and professional development for staff, caretakers, and service providers. Services include parent education, coaching, systems navigation support, staff training, and program design and implementation support. BornCovered does not provide clinical, therapeutic, or crisis services
